How to Find UDID of an iPhone or iPod touch

First, what’s a UDID?

If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, it has a Unique Device Identifier (UDID), which is a sequence of letters/numbers that is specific to your device. It’s like a serial number and will look something like this: 3b6f0cc111d137be2e1730235f5664094b8222861.

We provide a way to buy  iPhone - iPod Touch  applications to a limited number (up-to 100)  customers’ iPhones. In order to install our software, you must supply us with your iPhone’s UDID (unique device identifier) in order to install the application on your iPhone.

To find your iPhone’s UDID, just plug it into your computer and wait until iTunes recognizes it. Select your phone from the Devices list in iTunes and click the “Summary” tab. To see your UDID, click on the word “serial number” beside the picture of the iPhone. You should see the word “identifer” and an alphanumeric string – this is your UDID.

To copy it, just press command + C on your Mac’s keyboard (or control + C in Windows).

There is a way to find out UDID without iTunes. Install Ad Hoc Helper software. Launch the app to create an email containing your UDID. Email it to sales@globmart.com and you’re done!
